A reservation and subsequent rental agreement between the customer and Danjor Car Rentals are subject to the application of Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to the ones listed herein. The completion of a reservation is construed as your implied acceptance of applicability of these terms.
Danjor Car Rentals reserves the right to alter these terms at its sole discretion, and to change or otherwise modify them at any time without prior notice.
Reservation
Reservations are made for the vehicle, and the time and date requested. Vehicles will be held for up to four (4) hours from the scheduled pickup time. After pick-up time and grace period has passed, reservations are considered no-show.
All no-show prepaid cancellations are non-refundable
Requirements for Reservations.
Renter must be 25 to 75 years of age to rent. (fee applicable to allow renters/drivers under 21-25 years)
Renter must present valid driver’s license and credit card in the same name to process the rental.
Insurance coverage for the vehicle is required to process the rental.
Shuttle
In Montego Bay – Danjor Car Rentals is located off terminal approximately 3 minutes from the Airport. Shuttle is provided to/from the rental station. Upon exiting the arrival hall, a Danjor Car Rental agent will meet you by the rental Meet & Greet area on the left side. Office telephone number +1-876-866-3027 (Local or WhatsApp).
Refunds
Prepaid reservations are refundable when cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled time of pickup. All no-show reservations are non-refundable.
Reservations are non-changeable and non-transferable. No credits or refunds will be issued for unused rental days or early returns.
Payment
For pre-paid reservations, payment for the full rental amount, including all taxes and fees, will be processed at the time of reservations. Payments will be processed in USD.
Deposit
Debit cards may be accepted for the initial prepayment during the reservations process; however, the primary driver must present a valid government-issued Driver’s License and a major credit card in their name for processing the rental, security deposit and/or additional charges during the rental process at the counter.
Protection coverage and Add-Ons
Supplemental Coverage Protections –
- LDW Loss Damage Waiver – Protection against damages to vehicle during the rental (excluding tires & windshield). It covers up to full cost of replacement of vehicle,
- $5000 Deductible – $12.00 per day.
- $2,500 Deductible – $15.00 per day.
- No Deductible:
- Car Category ECAR to ICAR – $28.00 per day
- Car Category FCAR to MVAR – $38.00 per day.
- TP Theft Protection – Supplemental protection against theft of vehicle. $5,00 per day. It covers up to full cost of replacement of vehicle, with a $3,000 deductible
- LP Supplemental Liability Protection – Mandatory Third-Party Liability – Liability protection coverage for third party claims. $15.00 per day. Primary coverage is up to $25,000.
- Tires & Windshield Protection – for incidental damages to the tires, windshield and windowpanes. $5.00 per day
Refueling services – vehicles are rented with a full tank of fuel/petrol. You must return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel, or you may elect to add the refueling services for a stress-free return process.
Additional Drivers – You may add other drivers to the rental; however, they must meet the same driver’s criteria as the renter and present a valid driver’s license. $8.00 per day per driver.
Underage Drivers – Drivers of age 21 to 25 years old are allowed to drive subject to a daily fee of US$20,00 per day.
Child Seats – the use of child seats is required for children and infants. Child seats may be available for rent (advanced reservation required) $5.00 per day.
Restrictions:
Vehicle may not be taken off the island.
Smoking is NOT allowed in the vehicle. A clean-up fee of $250.00 will be applied to renters of vehicles affected.
After hours rentals/returns may be allowed and must be coordinated in advance. One time fee $25.00. Contact +1-876-866-3027 (Local or WhatsApp).
Vehicles returned excessively dirty due to negligence, carelessness, and abuse, will be subject to a cleaning fee of US$250.00 (i.e. sand, salt water wet seats, spilled drinks, trash, etc.)
Vehicle may not be driven on unpaved roads or on the sand in beach settings.
